Remembrance of things past is not
necessarily the remembrance of things
as they were.
— Marcel Proust

For me, inspiration can strike at any time and can arise from the most diverse situations. Nature, music, architecture, colours are just some examples that inspire me and evoke memories in me.

By blending traditional craft and contemporary design, this work aims to incite thoughts and provoke affective reactions.

I explore the subject of involuntary memory through colour, traditional textile processes, and material textures. Through three 20”x30” digitally designed and handmade textile panels, I imaginatively create a triptych that reveals my most intense memories. Through the medium of yarn and cotton fabric, I have made a body of work that depicts my thoughts and speaks about the memory phases.
